Groutfit

I really don't know if "groutfit" is a universal term, but s/o to my friends back home who've made it a thing, especially because I almost called this post 50 Shades... Usually a term for THE most casual outfit you could imaging (grey sweatpants and a grey sweatshirt), I tried to make it just a little nicer. I even had a grey day to match. It's a great alternative to both the all white and all black outfits that I've been constantly sporting lately. Not to mention grey is a great color for fall, so naturally I'm loving it.
Also is it grey or gray can someone tell me??

Dressed Up Dolls

YES I'm wearing burgundy again! It's one of my absolute favorite colors for all seasons. And you may recognize this babydoll dress from my 4th of July post. I loved it so much that I had to get it in another color. Paired with this lightweight crepe blazer and heels, it's the perfect way to dress up a really casual piece. This old Jcrew bauble necklace is another one of my favorites that can be used for a nice semi-dressy occasion. I've been having so much fun playing around with dressed up and dressed down essentials lately.

Blazer, Burgundy, Business

My second pseudo-workwear piece has become a personal favorite for me. I love the look of the long sleeves peeking out from the blazer cuffs, even though it might not be the most professional! I accented all the black with burgundy pants, and kept it dark but still casual. I absolutely love these DVF heels because they have the high heel d'orsay look while still being surprisingly comfortable, a must for a job in the city. I'm so excited about this internship so you can be sure that more work-esque looks are to come.

Pretty in Paisley

Summertime date night! I've had this gorgeous romper for a while now but I hadn't found just the right occasion to wear it. I was so excited to go out to the National Harbor over the weekend because I finally got the chance (and it was super fun)! It ended up being the perfect thing for shopping, sand, and sunset. I actually found this jacket in a boutique while we were there, and it made the romper just dressy enough for a nice seaside dinner. Rompers are such a great alternative to dresses and are definitely becoming a staple item in my wardrobe.
