When Nordstrom Met Brandy

The moment we've all been waiting for has finally arrived: Nordstrom stores have Brandy Melville. Although not available online quite yet, select stores have been expanding their Trend sections to include the once online-only brand. I was always so hesitant to order Brandy from their online site, especially considering that a significant portion of their merchandise is one size fits all (usually a no-go for me). These things are ones you REALLY need to try on before you decide to take the plunge, and $7.00 shipping for something you don't know you'll love is not happening. I was so happy to find this little gem. For only $21 I have this super comfy, casual t-shirt dress that can also be worn as a tunic shirt and I'm in love. With my bralette peeking out and some heeled sandals it was perfect for date night, but with jeans and a scarf it'll be perfect for class when I get to school. Summertime date night! I've had this gorgeous romper for a while now but I hadn't found just the right occasion to wear it. I was so excited to go out to the National Harbor over the weekend because I finally got the chance (and it was super fun)! It ended up being the perfect thing for shopping, sand, and sunset. I actually found this jacket in a boutique while we were there, and it made the romper just dressy enough for a nice seaside dinner. Rompers are such a great alternative to dresses and are definitely becoming a staple item in my wardrobe.

Infrared

I'm slowly starting to realize that where I live has a lot of trees. When I look back at my posts I feel like every background is green! I'm definitely going for a change of scenery soon.

Today was a lipstick day for me, and I planned my whole outfit around it. When wearing a bold color like this (which is once in a blue moon for me) I have to tone down the rest of my outfit, so I went with no color at all. Although I look like I'm going on an adventure in the woods, this was the perfect outfit for a night out. p.s. I love Smashbox!
